Henderson police arrested four juveniles in two separate incidents over the Memorial Day weekend.
In the first occurring on Monday, two juveniles were arrested after police responded to a dispute that involved a gun on the 300 block of Ragan Avenue.
Police were dispatched at about 2:40 p.m.
Police say a physical altercation happened in front of the house, and after that, two juveniles went into the house, came out with handguns and threatened to shoot one of the victims. The two then went back inside, police said.
One of the guns was described as having a drum style ammunition magazine.
The victims met the officers at a nearby location and provided video footage of the incident. While investigating the incident, officers were told everyone involved knew each other and this was an ongoing issue, said police.
Officers went to the house and detained the two juveniles without incident.
The homeowner arrived and gave their consent to search the house.
During the search, officers located two handguns and a drum style ammunition magazine. Both juveniles were taken into custody.
Both suspects are initially charged with possession of a handgun by a minor (first offense), third-degree terroristic threatening and menacing.
In the second arrest occurring about 12 hours later, officers were called to the 800 block of Powell Street on a report of a stolen vehicle. It was 2:50 a.m. early Tuesday morning.
A few minutes later, the stolen car was spotted on a FLOCK Safety camera, said police. Officers located the car and attempted to stop the driver, but he refused to pull over, and when he continued to flee, the officers stopped chasing, police said.
At 3:36am, a 911 caller reported a suspicious car in the 1100 block of Powel, and officers arrived and determined it was the stolen car, police said.
Two occupants, both under the age of 14, were eventually taken into custody by responding officers.
The driver was charged with first-degree fleeing, receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree criminal mischief and reckless driving-failure to signal.
The passenger was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal mischief.
