Henderson Police have arrested two juveniles in connection to a crash involving a car hitting a house.
Henderson Police officers were in the 1400 block of Clay Street after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.
An officer spotted the vehicle as it left the area at a high rate of speed, but officers lost sight of it as it sped away, said an HPD release.
A few minutes later, a 911 caller at 1 N. Julia St. reported an SUV had struck their house, said police. Officers responded and determined it was the same SUV from the Clay Street call but no one was inside the vehicle when they arrived, according to the release.
Residents were inside the house, but no injuries were reported. Due to the damage, however, the residents had to leave the home until it could be deemed safe, said police.
Officers were able to get descriptions of the vehicle’s occupants and eventually found them in the Henderson Station Apartments, said police.
They were taken into custody.
