Community Spotlight shines on Duncan
The Henderson City Commission shined the Community Spotlight on Lorelei Duncan at its Tuesday meeting.
Duncan is a recent Henderson County High School graduate, who has started at Henderson Community College.
She was recognized for her work with the upkeep and watering of downtown flowers and landscaping, including the hanging floral arrangements.
In the recognition ready by City Clerk Maree Collins, Parks and Recreation Director Trace Stevens described Duncan as “dedicated, tenacious and not afraid of a little work.”
The Community Spotlight is a new recognition in which the city recognizes people or organizations for the work they’re doing.
