Why did you decide to run for this seat?

I decided to run for District Judge in my hometown because this community shaped who I am. I believe Henderson deserves a judge who understands its people, respects the law, and treats everyone with fairness, dignity, and compassion. I want to continue to give back to my community by serving with integrity and ensuring justice is applied consistently and thoughtfully.

Why do you believe you are the best choice for this seat?

I believe I am the best choice for Henderson County District Judge, Division 1 because I represent the people I serve in this community. I have dedicated my entire legal career to public service. I grew up with and have worked around the people that utilize District Court every day. I treat everyone, on all sides of the courtroom, with respect, kindness, and compassion.

What are your top priorities for the next term, if elected?

I believe firmness and compassion can coexist. I will maintain order in the courtroom while recognizing the human realities behind each case—especially in mental health/substance abuse, juvenile and misdemeanor matters. I will make sure everyone that comes through those doors will be treated with dignity, understanding, and fairness.

A final brief statement to support your candidacy.

I am running for District Court Judge because Henderson County is my home. I was raised her, I know our people, and I care deeply about this community. I believe our courts should treat everyone with fairness, respect, and compassion while applying the law with integrity. As judge, I will work hard every day to serve my hometown with honesty, consistency, and a commitment to justice for all. I humbly ask that you vote Lindsey Noller Turner for District Judge, Division One.
