Why did you decide to run for this office?
I want Henderson to continue to grow, and provide opportunities for our young people to return to, good jobs and a community that is a good place to raise their families. If I can help that to continue as it has over the last few years, I’d consider that a great accomplishment.
Why do you believe you are the best choice for this seat?
A lifelong resident, I bring an understanding of our community’s history, its strengths, and its challenges. I’ve been involved in City government for years, and bring a balanced, mature perspective to the table.
What are your top priorities for the next term, if elected?
- To keep our City on a sound financial footing.
- Continue support for economic development, attracting new businesses and helping existing companies expand, grow, and thrive.
- Maintaining our infrastructure and taking care of our employees.
A final brief statement to support your candidacy
I’d like to give back to the community that has been so good to me. With my experience working in, with, and through local government, I believe I possess a unique perspective on how we can improve our hometown and would like to share my experience and knowledge at a higher level.
