Health First Community Health will offer dental care through a partnership with KARE Mobile Dentistry in Louisville, said a release from the healthcare provider.

The KARE Mobile dental unit will visit Henderson four times in 2025—Feb. 13, May 15, August 14 and Dec. 10.

Through the partnership, Dr. Whitney James will provide services that include cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, partials and dentures, said the release. The mobile dental unit will be stationed at 700 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and private pay are all accepted. Financing is also available through a third-party credit vendor, said the release.

To schedule an appointment, call KARE Mobile directly at 270-290-0895. Then callers should select the #1 option for existing patients to be connected to a live representative who can schedule patients.

“There is a shortage of dentists in our area, many either do not accept new patients or do not accept Medicaid coverage,” said the release. “As a community health center, we are charged with removing barriers to ensure that patients receive the care they need to stay healthy and well.”
