The Henderson Police Department said that an Evansville man connected to the death of Henderson resident Kristina Robison was indicted Tuesday.
Brian Rodgers, 49, is currently incarcerated in the Knox County, Ind. Jail on unrelated charges where he will remain until being extradited to Henderson, said an HPD release.
At the time of Tuesday’s press release, HPD said there will be no further information released at this time to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
Rodgers is charged with:
- Murder
- Abuse of a corpse
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Tampering with a weapon
- First-degree trafficking a controlled substance (2nd or greater offense)
- First-degree persistent felony offender
The investigation initially occurred in Indiana, but in early November, HPD said that it was a part of a joint death investigation of the 35-year-old Robison, whose body was located at Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife area in Warrick County, Ind.
According to a release then, investigators learned that the death occurred in Henderson. And according to that release, the “person of interest” became startled and took Robison to the wildlife are and left her.
