A’Tylia Green | Basketball | Athlete of the Week for week ending Dec. 13

A’Tylia Green led the Lady Cols basketball team in scoring three games this past week. With an impressive average of 20.7 points per game, she tallied 13, 24, and 25 points, respectively. Notably, she hit four three-pointers in a close loss to Evansville Central.

A’Tylia on her performances: “I want to thank the people who nominated me Athlete of the Week. We’ve had a lot of games these past two weeks, some wins and losses. But as a senior, leadership right now is the biggest thing we are focusing on with our young roster. We are gaining experience every day. I am showing up positive and looking for a way to help my team, whether that’s through assists, scoring, or defense.”
