In the first year as an official Kentucky High School Athletic Association sport for females, the Lady Colonels wrestling team took four individual regional championships in the Region 1 Tournament.

The regional competition took place on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Caldwell County High School. Seven of the 10 Lady Colonels who competed placed in their individual weight classes. The team finished in regional third-place with 115 team points.

The regional champions are Naomi Santiago, Claudia Mendez, Jasmin Beckham and Evie Estes.

Charleigh Olmsted also qualified for the state tournament, and Sydney Chambers will be a state tournament alternate.
