Food Service Inspections

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.

A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.

B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.

C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.

The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

• Penn Station, 1111 Barret Blvd., March 25: C/81

-Food in contact with soiled equipment and/or utensils

-Food stored uncovered

-No time listed on sliced onions; not following written procedures for using time as a public health control

-Slice deli meats in reach-in cooler on line not dated

-Reach-in cooler in poor repair

-Lack of accurate thermometers in all refrigeration/freezer units

-Potatoes stored next to handwashing sink

-In-use utensils stored on unclean surfaces

-Equipment is not in good repair, griddle is in poor repair, ice machine missing panels
