Food Service Inspections

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.
A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.
B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.
C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.
The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

  • -Employees eating, drinking or smoking in unauthorized area
    -Hands not washed to prevent contamination from previous task. Saw employee lick their hand and then proceed to grab single service cup.
    -Cloths in use not stored in sanitizing solution

    -Presence of insects. House flies throughout the dining room.

    -Food/nonfood-contact surface is not smooth and easily cleanable. Metal and plastic hotel pans in poor repair. Food/nonfood contact surface allows the migration of deleterious substances or impart colors, odors or tastes. Can opener lacks frequent cleaning.
