Food Service Inspections

December/January/Feb.

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.

A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.

B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.

C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.

The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

• Henderson Manor, 201 Watson Lane, Jan. 14: C/85

– Employees eating, drinking or smoking in unauthorized area

– Handwashing sink being used for other things than handwashing

– TCS food not maintained at 57 degrees Celsius (135 degrees Fahrenheit) or above

– Lack of properly maintained hot holding unit for TCS food.

– Cloths in use not stored in sanitizing solution

– In-use food dispensing utensils not properly stored

– Equipment is not maintained in good repair or does not allow for proper adjustment

– Nonfood-contact surfaces have accumulation of soil, not cleaned at frequency to prevent accumulation of soil residue

– Plumbing system is not designed, constructed and/or installed according to law

– Floors not clean, floors lack frequent cleaning

General comments: Stove, oven and exhaust hood are still out of service and have been out of service since the gas department placed them out of service on August 9, 2024.
