Food Service Inspections

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.

A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.

B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.

C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.

The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

• Henderson Manor, 201 Watson Lane, April 29: C/83

-No certified food manager present

-Food and/or ice adulterated or contaminated. Ice for consumption being held inside a dirty cooler.

-Food stored uncovered. Dry cereals stored in dry goods without lids.

-Food-contact surfaces not cleaned and sanitized.

-Lack of properly maintained refrigeration unit for TCS food.

-Cloths in use not stored in sanitizing solution.

-In-use food dispensing utensils not properly stored.

-Food/nonfood-contact surface allows the migration of deleterious substances or impart colors, odors or tastes. Can opener lacks frequent cleaning.

-Nonfood-contact surfaces have accumulation of soil. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment not cleaned at a frequency to prevent accumulation of soil residue.

-Outside garbage/refuse storage area is not clean.

-Floors not clean. Walls and ceilings not clean. Walls and ceilings coverings not easily cleanable.

-Presence of insects. Multiple types of insects present for the duration of the inspection.
