The Ohio Valley Art League is accepting entries for its Art of Recycling XI juried exhibit, which will hang at the Preston Arts Center this fall.
Artists must be age 18 or older and may enter up to two artworks. All media or mixed media must contain 80% recycled materials to be considered eligible.
2-D and 3-D artworks can be entered. 2-D works cannot exceed 60 inches in any direction and must have wire on the back for hanging. 3-D entries cannot be greater than 6 feet in any direction and must not require assembly. Entries must weigh 60 pounds or less.
Work must have been created within the last two years. No nudity or profanity may be entered. OVAL reserves the right not to display artwork for any reason.

The entry fee for OVAL members is $30 for one entry or $40 for two entries.
The entry fee for non-members is $35 for one entry or $45 for two entries.
Eight cash prices, ranging from $25 to $500, will be awarded in various categories. The juror, Evansville artist Amy Musia, will select artwork to be displayed only if entries exceed the available space. Accepted artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. The juror will also choose the award winners.
Artwork may be dropped off at the Preston Arts Center on the Henderson Community College campus between 10 a.m. and noon Sept. 11 and Sept. 12.
An opening reception and awards presentation will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18.
The exhibit will end Nov. 14. Artwork can be picked up at 10 a.m. Nov. 15.
