Jack Ryan Reusch | Football | Athlete of the Week for week ending Sept. 20
Jack Ryan Reusch was phenomenal on both sides of the ball in Friday night’s 7-6 homecoming win over Daviess County.
On offense he was uber-efficient, running for 95 yards on 11 rushes. In addition to his 8.6 yards per carry, he was even more dominant defensively. He led the team with 16 tackles, 2 of them for loss, and a sack, per The Hendersonian.
Reusch on his performances: “I’m incredibly thankful to be nominated as Athlete of the Week. Our team came out with a hard-fought win against Daviess County, and I couldn’t be more proud of how we battled through adversity, especially with such a late kickoff. Our coaches put together a great game plan for us to ‘Pound the Panthers,’ and all we had to do was execute. They’ve consistently put me in the right positions to make plays, and I’m hopeful that success continues throughout the rest of the season.”
