A Tuesday afternoon crash involving two Henderson County Schools buses left ten students injured, according to a release from Henderson County Schools.
None of the injuries were life-threating, said the release. Nine students were taken by ambulance to Deaconess Henderson Hospital, and another was transported there by personal vehicle, said the HCS release.
In a separate release, Henderson Police Department said the two buses were traveling west on U.S. 60 at about 2:37 p.m.
“The two school busses were traveling west on US 60 East when one rear ended the other vehicle,” said the police department release.
The students not taken to the hospital were cleared by medical personnel and taken to the nearby First Assembly of God, where they were later met by parents, said the school system release.
