A Henderson man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a charge of sexual assault of a child.
John Wilkey, 74, was arrested and charged on Aug. 20 with first-degree sexual abuse of a victim less than 12 years old.
He was booked at the Henderson County Detention Center, and his bond was set at $25,000.
The HCDC said Wednesday morning that Wilkey has bonded out.
Kentucky State Police is investigating the case. Trooper Mike Wathen said the case is active and currently KSP doesn’t have any information that it can release.
Wilkey ran a financial advising office in Henderson for decades.
At the Tuesday arraignment, a preliminary hearing was set at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 2.
