The Henderson Lions will host its 3rd annual Lions Golf Scramble on June 20.

The event will be held at the Bridges Golf Course and will begin at 12 noon with a shotgun start, said a release from the club.

According to the release, the price to field a team this year is $400; sponsorships are $150; a team plus a sponsorship is $500.  Also, a hole-in-one brings a $25,000 prize.

The event raised more than $8,000 last year in its second year.

All money raised at Henderson Lions fundraising events stays in the community and is used for eyesight conservation, grants to local nonprofit organizations and scholarships for local high school seniors, said the release.

Registration for the golf scramble is now underway. To make a cash payment, contact Cameron Morgan at 270-875-0030 or River Priest at 270-860-2483. Check payments may be sent to Henderson Lions Club, P.O. Box 842, Henderson, Kentucky, 42420.

The Henderson Lions hold other major fundraising events throughout the year, including the annual one-night live auction, lemon shake-up sales at the annual Tri-Fest and the Lions Arts and Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park.

The club returned more than $60,000 to the community in 2024.
