Henderson police are asking people to help them find a suspect in a Dec. 28 shooting at the Downtown Motel.

In a Wednesday press release, police asked residents to call the Henderson Police Department if they knew had information about where Menelik H. Branck, 46, can be found.

Police say on Dec. 30 a warrant was issued for Branck, a Henderson resident, on a first-degree assault charge.

The shooting occurred after Branck and another man got into an argument at the North Green Street motel, police said. At the time of the shooting, the victim was transported to a hospital and has since been released, said police.

The HPD phone number is 270-831-1295.
