Christian Haygan | Football | Athlete of the Week for week ending Nov. 15

Christian Haygan was all over the place in Henderson County’s 41-34 second-round playoff win vs McCracken County. He finished with 9 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble. Both of his sacks came during the 4th quarter. One of which took McCracken back 11 yards, while the other was on the final play of the game.

Christian on his performance: “I’m truly honored to be nominated for Athlete of the Week. Thank you to everyone who selected me. Your support means more than you know. I also want to thank my coaches for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me grow as both a player and a person. And to my teammates, none of this is possible without you. Every practice and rep together is what makes wins like Friday night’s happen. Most importantly, I want to give all glory to Jesus Christ. We are looking forward to keeping this momentum going next week. Go Colonels!”
