Henderson County’s unemployment rate fell one-half percentage point in November compared with one year earlier, the Kentucky Center for Statistics reported recently.
The jobless rate here in November 2025 was 4.6%, down from 5.1% in November 2024, the state agency said.
That compared with a statewide average of 4.5% and the U.S. jobless rate of 4.3%
An estimated 18,539 Henderson County residents were employed in November, up 195 from one year earlier.
Meanwhile, 894 people here were classified as unemployed but actively seeking work, 100 fewer than one year earlier. They don’t include unemployed people who hadn’t looked for a job within the previous four weeks.
