Open tomorrow

  • City of Henderson Municipal Building will be open regular hours
  • Henderson County Courthouse will be open regular hours
  • Henderson County Judicial Center will be open regular hours

At the judicial center Tuesday, all dockets will be heard as scheduled.

Henderson Circuit Court Juror Orientation is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 300. Grand Jury orientation will be in Grand Jury Room. If unable to attend, phone 270.826.2405 after 8 a.m. or you may call Circuit Clerk Sutton on his cell between 6:30 a.m.-8:00 a.m. at 270.577.5939.

Henderson District Court Division 1

  • Misdemeanor and forcible detainer will allow remote appearance. Call Henderson Circuit Clerk office at 270.826.2405 for instructions. Jail docket (misdemeanor) will be heard at 10 a.m.

Henderson District Court Division 2

  • Probate: Parties and counsel may appear in person or remotely via Zoom. Meeting ID is 899-421-0501 password 42420. To appear by phone, call 312.626.6799 and follow prompts with same info.
  • Traffic jail docket: Today’s, Monday’s, jail docket (traffic) will be heard at 12:30 p.m.

  • Henderson County Schools and Holy Name School

Warming shelters

Emergency responders are providing transportation to those who need to get to a warming shelter, according to information from the Henderson Office of Emergency Management. The Henderson Fire Dept, Volunteer Fire Department and the Rescue Squad will assist. Contact Henderson 911 Dispatch at 270-827-8700. They will notify Henderson Emergency Management who will make the necessary arrangements.

• Salvation Army – 1312 Washington St.

• The Gathering Place – 1817 N Elm Street (Will be opened soon-will update)

• City Hall at 1101 Clark St. Robards (Warming shelter only) Not geared for overnight stays.

  • Father Bradly Shelter for Women and Children
  • Harbor House for Men

Hundreds of emergency calls have come into 911 in the past 24 hours, according to Henderson County OEM.

Some of the most frequent emergencies are:

  • Downed Trees on the roadways
  • Downed Power Lines
  • Fires as a result of powerlines and transformers sparking and lighting trees on fire.
  • Trees falling on houses
  • Vehicle slide offs
  • Car accidents

First Responders

All first responder departments, including emergency management, law enforcement, EMS, fire departments and volunteer fire deparments, are working vigorously to get to all the 911 emergency calls.
