Food Service Inspections

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.

A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.

B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.

C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.

The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

-Hands not washed to prevent contamination from previous task

-Disposable towels and/or hand drying device not provided at lavatory or hand sink

-Food stored uncovered

-The approved sanitizing solution for manual/mechanical ware-washing is not at proper concentration

-TCS food not maintained at 57 degrees Celsius (135 degrees Fahrenheit) or above

-No consumer advisory for raw/undercooked food and/or otherwise processed to eliminate pathogens

-Residential fly spray behind the counter

-Food not stored at least six inches above the floor

-Equipment is not maintained in good repair or does not allow for proper adjustment.

-Lack or accurate thermometers in refrigeration/freezer units

-Improper display/storage of single service items, in contact with ground

-Toilet facility unclean

-Floors not clean

-Light fixture not shielded as required
