Food Service Inspections

Food service inspections are made by the Henderson office of the Green River District Health Department.
A — 85 to 100 percent with no critical violations.
B — Failed two consecutive regular inspections or a follow-up inspection.
C — Any critical violations or 84 percent and below. A follow-up inspection is required within 10 days.
The Hendersonian only provides details of critical violations.

  • Popeye’s, 34 N. Green St.: The Health Department received information that an employee of Popeye’s was arrested and charged with smoking methamphetamine in the restaurant bathroom on March 24. A health department official then instigated an inspection on March 25. Popeye’s received a C grade for the critical violation food not maintained at 135 degrees F and refrigerated food not reheated rapidly to 165 degrees F.
