Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider announced that he will hold four town hall-style meetings in April.
Magistrates and county government staff may also be on hand with Schneider at the town halls.
According to a release from county government, each forum will be open to the public and participants will be able to interact with the judge-executive, ask questions and offer concerns or comments they have about county government or other issues.
“These town halls are simply a chance for folks to meet with me in-person, exchange ideas in an informal setting and ask whatever they’d like,” Schneider said in a prepared statement. “I’ll be joined by magistrates and other county officials if they’re available. Our goal will be to give answers to questions if we know them, listen to attendees’ opinions to help guide our own decision making, brief them on new developments in local government and just enjoy some fellowship and constructive conversation about Henderson County.”
Each forum will start at 5:30 p.m. and last as long as is needed to give everyone a chance to be heard, said the release.
The meetings will be:
April 3 – Henderson County Courthouse, Fiscal Court courtroom
April 7 – Robards City Hall
April 10 – Smith Mills Volunteer Fire Department
April 15 – Baskett Volunteer Fire Department
