Henderson Community College awarded credentials to 57 students at its fall commencement on Dec. 8.
Additionally, at the end of the fall semester, the registrar’s office reported that the college awarded in total 83 degrees, 10 diplomas and 139 certificates, an HCC release said.
Of the degrees, 51 were associate in applied science degrees, 24 were associate in science degrees and eight were associate in arts degrees, said the release.
“Each of our graduates has a special story and we feel honored that HCC has been a part of their educational journey,” said HCC President/CEO Jason Warren.
At the commencement ceremony, HCC also presented Henderson County High School counselor Nathan Grace with the Distinguished Alumni Award, said the release.
Grace is a graduate of HCHS, HCC and Murray State University. He’s also earned a master’s degree in school counseling from MSU and a Rank 1 in counseling from Western Kentucky University.
Grace is the son of Mac and Patricia Grace, both HCC graduates, and he and wife, Jessica, live in Henderson County and have two sons, said the HCC release.
