The Audubon Kids Zone is hosting its first-ever candidate question-and-answer on April 25.
The Henderson Candidate Q&A will be 4-7 p.m. at the Henderson County High School auditorium.
In a post AKZ made on Facebook, the organization said it is hosting the event to help our community better understand the election process and hear directly from the people running for office.
AKZ said attendees can expect a fairly moderated discussion and a chance to connect with candidates after. And the event will include community-driven questions submitted in advance, AKZ said.
It’s free and open to the public.
