Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider and Henderson Mayor Brad Staton have declared a state of emergency ahead of the forecasted winter storms.
Both go into effect at 5 p.m. Friday and stay in effect until rescinded by the judge-executive and the mayor.
With the states of the emergency declared, the local emergency plan shall be fully executed and emergency operations are directed and coordinated by the Henderson County Emergency Management Director.
