I-69 Ohio River Crossing officials said in a release that the Airline Road bridge is expected to close at 9 a.m. on Monday so that workers can replace its superstructure.
The work should be complete in August, said the release.
The signed detour route includes Garden Mile Drive, Ky 351/Second Street and Ky 2084.
Additionally, southbound U.S. 41 under the Airline Road bridge is expected to close 12-4 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, while northbound U.S. 41 under the Airline Road bridge is expected to close 12-4 a.m. Friday, April 25.

I-69 ORX officials also announced that the Adams Lane bridge is expected to reopen in mid- to late-May.
