When it comes to end-of-life care, let us be your “home away from home” at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center. Our goal is for everyone to have a peaceful and comfortable end-of-life in the comfort of their home. However, this is not always possible. We offer 3 levels of care to meet the needs of our patients and families: General Inpatient (GIP), Respite and Residential.

The General Inpatient level of care is for patients who have symptoms or needs which cannot be met in any other setting. This level of care is paid for 100% by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances.

Respite care is for current hospice patients needing short term temporary care when a caregiver is unable or needs a break. This is a 5 day stay at our center, based on bed availability.

Residential care is for any hospice appropriate patient needing long term facility placement. We offer this private pay option for those who wish to reside at our center.

All levels of care feature private bedrooms and bathrooms, free WiFi, private parking, and many other amenities.

The Lucy Smith King Care Center is known for quality patient care and is a staple in the community. Our care is unbeatable! You have a choice when it comes to end-of-life care. ASK your healthcare providers for St. Anthony’s! You can also make a referral 24/7 by calling 270-826-2326.
