Hundreds took part in the Habitat for Humanity and Breakfast Lions Club 34th Annual 5K Classic Run and Walk Saturday morning in downtown Henderson.

Britney Smith, the executive director of Habitat, said that 260 people participated in the event.

“All funds raised from the race will help us build Habitat Homes in Henderson County for the 15 partner families currently in our program,” said Smith in a text message.
