A 19-year-old Henderson man died Sunday from injuries suffered in an ATV collision.
Kentucky State Police made a release that said on Sunday at about 1:18 p.m. Leland Majors was driving an ATV east on Grandpa Jones Road. KSP said he failed to stop at the roadway’s intersection with Ky. 359 and entered the path of a gray sedan driven by Betty McPherson, 45, of Morganfield.
KSP said that Majors was transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville and later died there.
The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 16 Trooper J. Newcom. KSP Trooper Mike Wathen said the agency is waiting on test results as a part of the investigation.
Also at the scene were Corydon Fire Department, Henderson Rescue Squad, Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, AirEvac and Henderson EMS, said KSP.
