Henderson County struggled to find its footing against Owensboro Friday night as the Red Devils handed the Colonels a 50-2 loss at Colonel Stadium in their regular-season finale.

Owensboro continued to pull away after the break, adding 22 points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth.

Senior quarterback Brody Belt led Henderson County offensively, completing 16 of 30 passes for 122 yards and two interceptions while adding 36 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Senior Jack Dalton caught five passes for 40 yards, while sophomore Jackson Loveless recorded three receptions for 27 yards. Senior Hezekiah Harris added two catches for 26 yards.

The Colonels finished with 167 total yards of offense, including 122 passing and 45 rushing. Henderson County recorded 12 first downs but struggled to establish a consistent offensive attack against the Red Devils.
