The city of Henderson announced that beginning 7 a.m. Wednesday  Green River Road will serve as the only way to and from the transfer station until further notice.

This change may result in delays and slower processing times, said the city.

The city is encouraging the public to delay any visits to the landfill if at all possible, but staff will be on hand if visits are necessary, the city said.
