Why did you decide to run for this office?
Because local politics is where a difference is made that directly affects our community. I think people become complacent when continuously elected and they become politicians losing sight of what their actual jobs are, which is being a public servant. I also think that as a public servant it is our responsibility to work, in unison, with our younger adults to help them understand just how much local politics directly affects our community so that they can be elected to local offices while serving the best interests of the community.
Why do you believe you are the best choice for this seat?
I have a proven track record of working with the community to represent the people. I am open to listen to anyone because that’s what a public servant does. We learn to be open-minded, set aside personal views, and come together to work for the best interests of the community.
What are your top priorities for the next term, if elected?
To ensure that the voices and best interests of those who are fighting against solar farms, wind turbines, and the BESS storage facilities are heard, addressed, and resolved. To work within my district (and with city officials) to repair and improve the infrastructure of District 4, bring in sustainable businesses that will provide decent pay and benefits, provide resources to address the homeless population issues, mental health issues, domestic violence issues, substance abuse issues, and local first responder issues (pertaining to staffing shortages, equipment and resource shortages, necessary training, improving community outreach and involvement). To work with other elected magistrates to ensure that their constituents’ concerns are addressed, and resolved, in a timely and efficient manner. To work with local small business owners (current and future) to help them in creating, maintaining, and sustaining their businesses while enjoying living in our community, helping it grow, and creating a positive impact locally.

If elected I promise to always be available, work diligently to best serve the community, be a voice that ensures the voices of our community are heard, be transparent, be accountable, and work extremely hard to do what’s best for the community. Together we are better, stronger, and unstoppable in our goals.
