A Henderson man was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after being totally naked in the female bathroom at the Atkinson Park Pool.

Henderson Police Department said that Cory Wilson, 26, was naked and seen by an adult female and two juveniles Saturday in the pool’s bathroom.

He was charged with first-degree indecent exposure, first offense, said Lt. Stuart O’Nan, who is filling in as the police spokesman for a couple weeks.

O’Nan said the incident occurred at about 2:09 p.m. He said Wilson claimed he unknowingly walked into the female bathroom and went ahead and decided to change there.

Parks and Recreation Director Thomas Kenney said he met with HPD Chief Billy Bolin after the incident. He said HPD will step up patrols around the area and will also begin to do walk-throughs in the pool area during swimming hours.

He said the incident was handled correctly by pool staff, who immediately called police after they were notified.
