The Holy Name School Fall Festival will be Oct. 23 and Oct. 24.
According to Julie Eadens, the HNS president, last year’s festival raised $86,000 for the school.
Eadens said the HNS Fall Festival is not only a tradition for the school and church but also for “the greater Henderson and Tri-State area.”
One of the new traditions of the fall festival is a haunted house, which has become popular among many who frequent haunted houses each October. The fall festival will also feature Casey’s carnival rides, food and game booths, a silent and live Herron auction, and a raffle.
There will also be a new soup booth with chili and Homer’s burgoo, Eadens said.
“It’s sure to be a fun time with something for everyone,” she said.
On Friday, Oct. 23, the fall festival will be open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 24, the fall festival will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
