The Henderson County Public Library was closed this morning after a handwritten bomb threat was found, said a release from the Henderson Police Department.

HPD investigators, as well as an explosives detection K9 team from the Evansville Police Department, were investigating as of 9:45 a.m.

According to HPD, no hazardous devices were located during the first check of the building.

HCPL said it will give updates on when it is opening on its Facebook page.
