The city of Henderson says that a portion of Wathen Lane will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

The section between Hillmont Drive and Wolf Hills Boulevard will be closed so that construction crews can put in storm drains, said Holli Blanford, the city’s public relations director.

The section of the road’s closure is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Monday and end at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Blanford said.

The work is part of the ongoing Wathen Lane reconstruction which is scheduled to be completed later this year.
