One Life Church will celebrate its Fall Kickoff on Sunday, Aug. 30.
The celebration is expected to bring more than 900 people to the Henderson riverfront, where among other pieces of the program there will be pool set up for baptisms.
Church officials say that everybody in Henderson is invited and anyone can get baptized that day.
But it won’t only be baptisms, the church is planning numerous other activities throughout the day.
There will also be many activities occurring in Audubon Mill Park. Those include a free picnic lunch, special kids programming, lemon shake-ups, inflatables, face painting and games, including cornhole and Guess Who.
The day will also feature a worship service with relevant messaging.
It all starts at 10 a.m.
One church official said 830 people attended last year’s event, and the church would love it if “people ended up coming to our church and found their home church through this.”
