Court documents show that John Wilkey’s case will be sent to be heard before a Henderson County grand jury with an arraignment scheduled for Oct. 13.
Wilkey, a former financial adviser in Henderson, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child under 12 years old.
The case is being investigated by Kentucky State Police.
In the criminal complaint found in the court file, Wilkey admitted to touching inappropriately a 4-year-old girl underneath her underwear at his home.
Wilkey, 74, was arrested and charged on Aug. 20.
He was booked at the Henderson County Detention Center, and his bond was set at $25,000. He has since bonded out.
