At Tuesday’s Henderson City Commission meeting, Commissioner Rodney Thomas spoke of a couple things at the end of the meeting. First, he thanked the people of Henderson for their calls of comfort after his mother, Ginny Thomas, died on Thursday, Feb. 5. His second comment was of an interview that Jon Stewart did with Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday night’s “The Daily Show.” In it, Beshear spoke about Henderson and its warm reception of the Pratt Paper plant a couple years ago. Some Henderson folks have posted the video on Facebook for others to see. And we’re inserting a link for those who missed the interview and might want to take a look.
