The Henderson City-County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. in the Fiscal Court meeting room located at the Henderson County Courthouse, 20 North Main Street, Henderson, KY 42420. 

One or more members of the Planning Commission may participate via Zoom, and the meeting will be broadcast to the public live at the locations below.  This meeting will also be conducted as a video teleconference meeting as allowed under KRS61.826.  Any interruption in the video or audio broadcast at any location shall result in the suspension of the meeting until the broadcast is restored. 

The meeting will be streamed live to the following locations:

The following items will be heard:

County Zoning Text Amendment: The Henderson Fiscal Court hereby proposes and originates the amendment Appendix A of the Henderson County Zoning Ordinance in the Henderson County Code of Ordinances to include small farm winery farmstays as conditional use in Agricultural zones.  

Right-of-Way Closure Request – Submitted by Justin and Abby Johnston to close unimproved public right-of-way being an alley between 216 Highland Drive and 220 Turner Avenue, containing approximately 3,051 total square feet.
