The Henderson City-County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Henderson Municipal Center, 3rd Floor meeting room located at the Henderson Municipal Center, 222 First Street, Henderson, KY 42420. One or more members of the Planning Commission may participate via Zoom, and the meeting will be broadcast to the public live at the locations below. This meeting will also be conducted as a video teleconference meeting as allowed under KRS61.826. Any interruption in the video or audio broadcast at any location shall result in the suspension of the meeting until the broadcast is restored.

The following items will be heard:
- Rezoning #1187 – Submitted by the City of Henderson, for the property located in the City of Henderson at 1228 Barret Boulevard (PID# 65-13.12) containing approximately .35 acres. The applicants have requested a zoning change/map amendment to rezone from PUD to Highway Commercial (HC).
- Rezoning #1188 – Submitted by the City of Henderson, for the property located in the City of Henderson at 1228 Barret Boulevard (PID# 65-13.12) containing approximately 33.65 acres. The applicants have requested a zoning change/map amendment to rezone from Agricultural (AG) to Highway Commercial (HC).
- The Henderson City – County Planning Commission proposes and originates an amendment to the Henderson County Zoning Ordinance Article 30 Solar Energy Systems.
